Tango is a small pause between you and the next scroll. Open it when you feel the pull of the feed. You take a short breath, answer one question that asks you to think, and then decide what you actually want to do.

Not on iPhone. Tango is a voluntary pause that you open yourself. It does not watch what you do on your phone and it does not interrupt other apps.
On your device only. There is no account and your progress is never uploaded, so a streak does not move between devices, and reinstalling the app starts it fresh.
Open the About screen from the icon in the top right of the home screen, then choose Erase my data. That clears every pause, streak, and score held on the device.
Yes. The daily goal is on the About screen and can be set to one, two, three, or five.
Tango collects no personal data. It does fetch new questions from our server, and that request says only which kind of thinking to write about, nothing about you. The full statement is on the privacy page.
